Bogotá, July 2024. Until today, July 12, Corferias is the epicenter of dentistry in Colombia. Odontotech, the specialized show, brought together the main companies and representatives of leading brands in the dental industry at national and international level.

During the 7th edition of the event, new global proposals were highlighted, which implement innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), 3D printing, virtual reality and robotics, which are shaping the future of dentistry.

María Fernanda Atuesta, president of the Colombian Dental Federation, highlighted that "these meetings allow professionals to stay up to date with the latest innovations, improve the quality of treatments and meet the new needs of the sector."

Clocks' Runyes intraoral scanner works with 100% digital flow on implants, fixed prostheses, orthodontics with aligners and surgical guides. Thanks to artificial intelligence technology, it provides greater scanning speed and precision. This device avoids impressions and generates greater comfort for patients.

Ultradent

Transcend resin from this brand is a chameleon-like resin that, thanks to Resin Particle Mat technology , adapts to different tooth shades. This is an innovative material that is used for direct and indirect restorations and in both anterior and posterior regions.

Ivoclar

The Ivoclar PrograMill PM7 milling machine enables the production of full or individual dentures, with an automated process that speeds up restorations in laboratories. Processes that were previously carried out in an analog manner “which meant that the process would take longer. Now, with the digital flow, it is possible to have the restoration done on the same day.”
