Update yourself on advances and perspectives in dentistry: VII International Congress.

• Participate in the “free entry” block of the VII International Congress of Dentistry that takes place until July 12 within the framework of Odontotech 2024. 
• The Odontotech specialized dentistry show, organized by the Colombian Dental Federation - FOC - and the International Business and Exhibition Center - Corferias , takes place in pavilions 4 and 5A.

Bogotá, July 2024. Until July 12, the VII International Congress of Dentistry will take place at Corferias as part of Odontotech. This outstanding academic event gives participants the opportunity to learn from world-renowned specialists, experts in various areas of dentistry.

The VII International Congress of Dentistry, which is taking place in Hall 5A, features a prominent block dedicated to oral rehabilitation, primary oral care, the effectiveness of mouthwash use, among other relevant topics. This program gives participants the opportunity to learn from renowned specialists in the field. 

Below are the details of the conferences scheduled for Wednesday, July 10 :

• From 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Dr. Carlos Monteagudo, a dentist from the Faculty of Dentistry and the Division of Graduate Studies and Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico with a specialty in periodontics, will give his lecture "Impact of oral care technologies in periodontal patients." He holds a Master's degree in Health Sciences from the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico City and has completed academic stays in Chicago, Illinois in 2011, at the University of Jerusalem, Israel in 2014, and at New York University in 2022.

Thursday, July 11: 

• 10:30 am to 11:30 am, Dr. Tomás Villaquirán will discuss the "Effectiveness of using an essential oil mouthwash on dental plaque and gingivitis." With training as a Specialist Dentist in Periodontology from the Universidad Javeriana and an outstanding career as president of the Colombian Association of Periodontology and Osseointegration ACPO (2015 - 2017), he has imparted knowledge in the postgraduate studies of Periodontology, Oral Rehabilitation and Orthodontics at the Universidad del Valle.
• 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, Dr. Marcela Higuera will present on "Traditional consultation at the 4.0 clinic: Dentalink strategies for a successful digital transformation in dentistry." She is a dentist specializing in health administration from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, with a Master's degree in strategic management of health organizations from the Miguel de Cervantes European University.
• 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, Dr. María J. Riveros will present "Business case: The journey of Dr. María José Riveros, transforming her dental office into the clinic of the future." She is a dentist and orthodontist, international speaker and pioneer in the generation of content on social networks.
