Bogotá, July 2024. Until July 12, Corferias is the global epicenter of dentistry with the specialized Odontotech Show. This internationally renowned event brings together prominent leaders in the sector to explore the latest advances in dental technology.

The VII International Congress of Dentistry, integrated within Odontotech, presents a prominent block dedicated to orthodontics, offering participants the opportunity to learn from renowned specialists in the field. Below are the details of the conferences scheduled for Friday, July 12 in Hall 5A:

• From 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, Dr. Brian Murdoch, specialist in orthodontics and functional orthopedics, will present his lecture "Interdisciplinary Orthodontics: A Current Concept of Oral Rehabilitation" in Pavilion 5A. With extensive experience as director of the orthodontics and maxillary orthopedics program at the University of Salvador and president of the Argentine Dental Association, Dr. Murdoch is internationally recognized for his leadership in the field of dentistry.

• 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Dr. Nasib Balut C., a dentist graduated from the Technological University of Mexico and with a postgraduate degree in orthodontics from Loyola University of Chicago, will present the topic "Invisible aligners: Are they useful for all cases?" Nasib Balut has been recognized by the Mexican Association of Orthodontics and the General Directorate of Professions. It is worth noting that Dr. Balut C. was director of the Postgraduate degree in Orthodontics at the Technological University of Mexico (1994-2000) and president of the Mexican Council of Orthodontics (2006-2009).

• 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. , Dr. Joaquín Ariza, specialist in orthodontics and maxillary orthopedics at the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, will present "Latest biomechanical strategies in minimally invasive, highly aesthetic and bracket-free fixed orthodontics, applying MTOS: Mini Tubes Orthodontic System." 

The block dedicated to Orthodontics at the VII International Congress of Dentistry has a registration fee of 150,000 COP for active members and members of scientific and affiliated societies, and 200,000 COP for individuals. Both groups of registrants will receive an academic certificate for their participation in the event.
