Discover the latest aesthetic innovations at the VII International Odontotech Congress

Bogotá, July 2024. The academic agenda of the VII International Congress of Dentistry, which will be held within the framework of Odontotech, will be marked by the presence of renowned national and international experts, who will address key topics such as restorations and additive techniques in minimally invasive adhesive dentistry, minimally invasive dentistry and bioactive materials, veneers with composite resins, among others. 

Some highlights of Wednesday, July 10 :

• From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., Dr. Mónica González, an expert in Biomaterials and Dental Aesthetics, will share her knowledge on restorations and additive techniques in minimally invasive adhesive dentistry in Pavilion 5A. With an outstanding academic and teaching career in Colombian universities, Dr. González is recognized for her contribution to the advancement of less invasive dental practices.

• From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Dr. Rocío Lazo, a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry, will present a discussion on minimally invasive dentistry and the use of bioactive materials. Lazo, who has studied at renowned institutions such as the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and the Universidad Científica del Sur, is a leading voice in the application of new technologies for pediatric dental care.

Odontotech's academic agenda also includes keynote lectures and practical workshops led by world-renowned figures:

• 10:30 a.m. a 12:30 p.m., el Dr. Néstor Schejtman, especialista en Prostodoncia y conferencista internacional, abordará el tema del manejo de zona anterior en flujo digital y manejo de paciente complejo. Graduado como cirujano dentista de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México y con especialidad en prostodoncia de la Universidad de Rochester, el Dr. Schejtman, ha dedicado su carrera a la práctica privada y se ha destacado por su liderazgo en organizaciones como la Asociación Dental Mexicana y el American Prosthodontist Society.

• 2:00 p.m. a 4:00 p.m., el Dr. Sergio Favela, experto en preparaciones dentales fijas y profesor investigador en la Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila Unidad Torreón, presentará una actualización en técnicas avanzadas. Con formación en ciencias odontológicas y un doctorado en Ciencias, el Dr. Favela es reconocido por su enfoque multidisciplinario en el diagnóstico clínico de las alteraciones estructurales, biomecánicas, psicológicas y biológicas relacionadas con la odontología.

• 4:30 p.m. a 6:30 p.m., el Dr. Leonardo Muniz, especialista en Endodoncia y odontología de la Universidad Federal de Bahia (FO-UFBA) en Brasil, compartirá su experiencia en el manejo de carillas con resinas compuestas. Con una destacada trayectoria académica que incluye una maestría en Clínica Odontológica y su rol como profesor en la Escuela Bahiana de Medicina y Salud Pública (EBMSP), el Dr. Muniz también se desempeñó como coordinador del Curso de Estética en ABO-BA e Instituto Prime. 

El bloque dedicado a Estética en el VII Congreso Internacional de Odontología tiene un costo de inscripción de 200.000 COP para Federados activos y miembros de sociedades científicas y adherentes, y de 250.000 COP para personas naturales. Ambos grupos de inscritos recibirán una certificación académica por su participación en el evento.
